Try lifting floorboard first with bolster or floorboard lifter and use of claw hammer. cut floorboard inline with joist while supporting by claw hammer remmember to cut one side of the nail holes . the above method works ok if you are a couple of feet away from a wall. if close to a wall then using a jigsaw cut alone side of joist..
